“See, when you drive home today, you’ve got a big windshield on the front of your car. And you’ve got a little bitty rearview mirror. And the reason the windshield is so large, and the rearview mirror is so small is because what’s happened in your past is not near as important as what’s in your future.” – Joel Osteen
Q&A with Lori
Where is your favorite place in town to eat, and what do you get there?
My go to restaurant is Olive Garden. I usually get the Lasagna Classico or Tour of Italy. You can’t go wrong with some yummy pasta and breadsticks.
Who is your hero, and why?
My hero is Joyce Meyer. She is an incredible woman who has been through her own struggles and managed to rise about it. She teaches people how to apply the biblical truth to all aspects of life and encourages people to serve the world around them. She is always so positive and has great advice like “eat the cookie buy the shoes”.
What draws you to the lending industry?
Having the drive for efficient workflow finding my way to DC Lending has been nothing less than fate. This being my first experience with the lending industry I find I enjoy helping the team out so they can focus on the clients.
What does your dream Saturday look like?
My dream Saturday is driving a few hours away to find some new and wonderful trail to hike. Of course, I have my two Great Dane hiking buddies with me so that they can also take in the amazing views of God’s creations. If the weather isn’t great for hiking, we go to the Ocean. One way or the other we are taking in the beauty of the Pacific Northwest.
